AREA OF RESEARCH

The characterization of the microsomal enzyme systems metabolizing drugs, environmental chemicals and carcinogens; The clarification of the possible role of flavin monooxygenases in structure and function by employing molecular biology and genetic techniques; Cytochrome P450 (CYP) and flavin monooxygenase (FMO) specific reactions;  Polimorphism (Genotyping and phenotyping) of CYP and FMO isoenzymes, paraoxanase, TPMT in human with different disorders; diabetes, stroke, MS and cancer (leukemia); Vitamin D and MS relation,  Pharmacogenetic.
