AREA OF RESEARCH
Our laboratory seeks to understand intracellular trafficking, processing and secretion of neuropeptides, peptide hormones that are related to obesity in cells. Our recent works focus on hypothalamic appetite regulating neuropeptides and psychotic drugs, childhood obesity and Type-2 Diabetes, brain studies on atherosclerosis, and nano-architectural approaches for neurons. We utilize cell lines, animal and human subjects in order to carry-out the research.
